1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using FilingTrace (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of service
FilingTrace provides AI-powered analysis of publicly available UK company financial data sourced from Companies House. The Service is intended as a research and due diligence tool.
3. Not financial advice
The analyses provided by FilingTrace do not constitute financial, legal, investment, or credit advice.
Reports are generated from publicly filed documents and AI interpretation. They should be used as a starting point for due diligence only. Always seek independent professional advice before making financial decisions. FilingTrace accepts no liability for decisions made based on its analyses.
4. Accounts and access
- You must be 18 or over to use the Service.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You may not share your account or allow others to access it on your behalf unless on an Enterprise plan with multiple seats.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, copy, or resell data from FilingTrace without written permission.
- Use the Service to make automated high-volume requests beyond your plan allowance.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent access controls.
- Use analyses to make lending or credit decisions without additional due diligence.
6. Subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe.
- You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the billing period.
- We do not offer refunds for partial months.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
7. Data and intellectual property
Company data sourced from Companies House is public domain. AI-generated analyses are provided for your use only and may not be redistributed commercially. Your notes and annotations remain yours.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FilingTrace shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by English law. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
